Liza BROCK

Casting Director & Founder of Brock Casting Services | Creator of 'Lights On Program' | Inclusive Talent Advocate in Queensland's Screen Industry

From '90s pop star with two ARIA gold records and top-ten hits to starring in soaps, films, and live TV, I've hustled through the entertainment industry's highs and lows. I founded BMEG (Brock Management), built it into one of Queensland's top talent agencies, sold it successfully, and stepped back to raise my family.

Now? I'm back, leading Brock Casting Services in Brisbane—championing inclusive, authentic talent for screen projects.

With 30+ years on both sides of the camera, I speak your language: the thrill of performing and the pressures of production. Whether you're an emerging actor or a seasoned filmmaker, I bridge the gap.

I'm passionate about inclusive casting—giving everyone a fair shot, regardless of background or ability—and advocating for mental health in the arts (I've walked that brutal road myself). As an Industry Advisory Board member for the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, I'm shaping Queensland's screen future.

My feet are planted in Brisbane, and I'm on a mission to make it Australia's next big screen hub—hello, 2032 Olympics!

I'm also the author of Hot Chocolate in Wonderland, a semi-autobiographical tale now in development as a TV series.

If you're casting, creating, or dreaming big, let's collaborate on better stories. Bring strong ideas (and coffee? Even better).
