Inclusive Casting
As Strategic
Infrastructure.
Inclusive casting is not a box to tick. It's a process that requires care, consultation and industry knowledge. We work with productions to cast people living with disability responsibly, respectfully and with intention.

OUR APPROACH
How We Cast
Inclusively
Authentic Casting
Roles written with a specific disability are always cast with talent who have that lived experience. This is non-negotiable.
Open-Brief Casting
Roles that don't specify disability can still be cast inclusively. We actively encourage it. Open briefs expand your talent pool.
Access Consulting
We don’t just focus on who is on screen. We support what happens behind the scenes too. Through our network, we connect productions with leading access consultants to ensure inclusive crews, accessible sets and best practice from the ground up.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions We Hear From Productions.
Can we cast disabled talent in non-disability roles?
Absolutely. Disability does not define a character. We actively encourage open-brief casting.
Do we need to specify disability in the role? No. Consider all your roles — and who realistically fills them.
What about background artists? Look at your overall cast. Does it reflect society? 20% of Australians live with disability.
Is this just for "inclusive" projects? No. This is for every project. Inclusive casting is standard practice, not a special edition.
