Lights On Brisbane Studio.

Lights On Brisbane Studio is a disability-led casting and creator studio within BrockUp Media Pty Ltd (Brock Casting Services). It closes the gap between creative intent and on-the-ground execution when disability is part of the story.

We plug into existing agency and brand workflows as a specialist “disability department” – not a full-service agency – so you keep your clients and creative process, while we handle disability-led strategy, casting, creators and on‑set inclusion support.

Who we work with

  • Creative & media agencies – when a brief or concept includes disability and you need specialist support.

  • In‑house brand and marketing teams – for campaigns, platforms and UGC that require disabled talent or creators.

  • Production companies and content studios – for TVCs, digital series, social campaigns and stills involving disabled cast.

  • Broadcasters, streamers and screen agencies – for trailers, promos, brand campaigns and industry initiatives.

We work through agencies or direct with brands. If a brand comes to us first, we happily collaborate with their existing agency partners instead of competing with them.

How we work: three simple steps

1

Design it right – Inclusive creative & brief consulting

Before you lock scripts or storyboards, we stress-test your ideas through a disability lens. We run short, focused sessions with strategy and creative teams, bringing in disabled media and advertising professionals to shape narrative, language, casting implications and visual representation.

2

Cast it right – Disabled talent & creators

We source and support disabled talent from our Queensland pipelines, including:

  • Actors, presenters, models and families for TVCs, online films and stills.

  • UGC and digital creators across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube for social‑first campaigns.

  • Regional and remote talent via Lights On online programs. (Coming soon)

You receive curated shortlists, self‑tapes and chemistry reads, plus clear access notes and support requirements for each person. You keep your existing casting and influencer partners for everything else; you come to us when disability is in frame.

3

Run it right – On‑set inclusion & access coordination

On shooting days, we help you deliver campaigns safely, respectfully and efficiently. We brief crews and clients on working with disabled talent, coordinate support workers and interpreters, and make access adjustments so talent can do their best work.

Afterward, we debrief so each project improves the nextagraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It's easy.

WHY WORK WITH US

Why work with Lights On Brisbane Studio?

Disability-led, industry-backed

Lights On is part of Brock Casting, a Queensland casting company with over 30 years’ experience across film, television, commercials and digital media. Our disability-led team includes Founder/Managing Director Liza Brock, Casting Assistant & Co-Lights On Program Director, Breanna Swan, and associate partners such as Lisa Cox OAM (disability and advertising specialist) and Stephanie Dower (producer and access coordinator, Dower Productions).

Commercial, not tokenistic

We treat disability as a market and workforce opportunity, not a charity category. People with disability and their friends and families control an estimated $13 trillion+ in global spending power, yet remain one of the most under‑served segments in advertising. Our role is to help you reach them in ways that are creatively strong, commercially smart and genuinely respectful.

Employment-first impact

Lights On Brisbane Studio is tied directly to the Lights On Program & Employment Hub, which trains disabled actors, digital creators and screen‑literate support workers and brokers them into paid work.

Every campaign we support creates paid roles and wages for disabled talent and creators, and generates impact data you can report on.

SERVICES & INDICATIVE INVESTMENT

AGENCIES & BRANDS

Agency-first, brand-friendly

For agencies, we can be white‑labelled inside your existing offer or sit beside your brand as a named partner.

You keep client ownership; we supply the disability-led components you don’t want to build in‑house.

For brands, we can work with you directly or alongside your existing agency. Either way, you get a single, clear point of contact and disability-led support at every stage.

Let’s talk about your next campaign

If you have a brief where disability is in the story – or where it should be – we can help you design it, cast it and deliver it without the guesswork.

BRISBANE 2032 LEGACY & BEYOND

Lights On is being designed as legacy infrastructure for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond – permanent, disability-led employment pathways in screen and advertising, not a one‑off project that ends when the Games are over.

We are in active discussion with partners including Screen Queensland, Bus Stop Films and Rotary in Queensland about how this work can support long‑term employment and visibility for disabled creatives across the state.
